This passion naturally led her to pursue an extensive education in fashion, culminating in a highly specialized pattern-making course at AICP, one of the most renowned fashion schools in France. Her childhood curiosity evolved into a dedicated pursuit of fashion expertise, laying the foundation for Emilie’s future in haute couture.

A Career in couture

Her illustrious career took her through various facets of the fashion industry. Emilie's experience ranged from working with iconic luxury brands like Hermès to collaborating with independent bridal dress designers. She honed her skills across a spectrum of products and materials, from sophisticated adult wear to the delicate art of doll clothing, mastering everything from handling leather to working with the finest lace. “Every brand I worked with taught me something unique, enriching my understanding of fashion and its diverse expressions,” Emilie reflects on her multifaceted career journey.

Driven by a profound desire to impart her knowledge, Emilie ventured into entrepreneurship in 2020 by creating her sewing club: Steach. Situated in the heart of Paris, her studio became a sanctuary for aspiring designers and hobbyists alike, each with their unique project, regardless of their skill level. “My vision was to create a space that embraced creativity in all its forms, where anyone could bring their ideas to life,” Emilie shares, reflecting on the inclusive ethos of her club.
